Summary:
The article presents the results of studies of promising indigenous Caspian bacterial isolates - oil destructors. The transformation and degradation of oil by the studied isolates was evaluated by the fluorimetric method and IR photometry. The highest destructive ability was possessed by isolate 2, and isolate 3 is able to destroy polyaromatic hydrocarbons. Isolate 1 showed maximum emulsifying activity in relation to kerosene, and isolate 2 - in relation to diesel fuel.
