The article presents the results of monitoring the species composition of dendrobiont leaf-eating insects from the order Lepidoptera in the Bashkortostan Forestry Park and the Gafuri Park of Culture and Recreation (Ufa). The recording methods included visual inspection of plant organs and catching with an entomological net. In cases where identification was difficult in the field, samples of damaged leaves were collected and sent to the laboratory for subsequent rearing of imagoes. The family Tortricidae predominated in terms of species content, accounting for 36.6% of the total number of insect groups represented. The family Notodontidae (corydalis) was the second most abundance, at 11.35%, indicating their significant role in ecosystems. The Gracillariidae (pied moths) family was also represented in significant numbers, at 9.09%, and the Geometridae (loop moths) family represented 6.82% of the total. The remaining families (Noctuidae, Pyralidae, Gelechiidae, Lyonetiidae, Bucculatricidae, Eriocraniidae, Erebidae, Yponomeutidae, Incurvariidae, and Tischeriidae) were represented in approximately equal numbers, with a range of 2.27% to 4.55%. The findings indicate that in order to conserve green spaces in the studied areas, an integrated approach that considers species diversity, their characteristics, and the prevalence of leaf rollers must be developed and implemented. Further research of the species composition, biology, and ecology of additional taxonomic groups of dendrobiont leaf-feeders will allow for prompt outbreak detection and the adoption of measures to protect park ecosystems
