Summary:
The article describes the post-war scientific activities of the scientist – front-line soldier of WWII L.I. Sergeyev. For many years he worked as the head of the laboratory of the Institute of Biology of the Bashkirian branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, conducted physiological research on winter resistance and frost resistance of tree plants. The author of the article notes the importance of the research work of the biological scientist, the results of which have been widely recognized among the scientific community at home and abroad.
