The article presents the preliminary results of experiments on the development of methods for artificially increasing the quantity of critical populations of the rare species Allium nutans. The experiments were carried out on the town of Ayan and the town of Yumurgyr in the Abzelilovsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Two approaches were considered: sowing of seeds and planting of seedlings obtained in an introduction nursery. The second approach turned out to be more efficient, in which a very high survival rate (88,2-100%) and plant safety (88,9-100%) were observed in the experiments.
